New Listings

As part of our drive around Flathead Lake, we stopped in Somers to get this view of Somers Bay from the north.

One of the cars on display at Saturday’s show was this bright red 1959 MGA. It is now available as wall art, a coffee mug, and a t-shirt in my Etsy shop.

Having sold a version of this print in my RedBubble shop, I decided to change the background gradient to my normal gray and add the art to my Etsy shop where the car is already available as a coffee mug.
What I’m up to
I’m learning that I’m not as young (and resilient) as I used to be. Two days out in the sun did me in.
On Friday, September 19th, 2025, Cousin Ron and I drove to Polson and then circled Flathead Lake. We took photos to replace sketchy ones I’d taken earlier. And we stopped at Yellow Bay, Wayfarer, and West Shore State Parks.
We had a wonderful lunch at The Greatful Bread café in Bigfork. I ordered their Mulligatawny soup and Ron had the soup of the day, Green Chile Enchilada Soup.
We would have stopped at Lynn’s in Ronan for a burger supper, but they were closed by the time we drove past. This meant a very late supper when we got home.
Saturday found us at the Sanders County Fair Grounds, here in Plains. The Lions Club sponsored a fund-raising car show for a local young man suffering from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).
We went to take photos of the cars on display–that is what I sell, after all. But when we saw the number of newish cars on display, I decided to enter the Jag. It was a fund-raiser, after all.
Saturday was a hot, sunny day, and there was no shade where we were parked. The show went on till 6:30 or so, but I was so done in by the heat, we left at 3. I did take 71 photos, however, and made some car collector contacts.
Two hot days in a row, with skipped meals both days, did me in. I was barely functional on Sunday, and Monday was almost as bad.
Tuesday and Wednesday were better, and my blood sugar was back down, but we didn’t leave the house. I hope I’m not getting past traveling days. Guess I’d best get that new RV in the driveway so I can stop and rest while on the road.
Thank you for spending time with my LIA Newsletter 7. Drop me a note if you found anything interesting here.
