Yellowstone National Park
What I’m up to
As you may guess from all the new listings on the left, this week has been a very productive one for me. In addition to adding new listings to my wall art and mug shops, I’ve also been traveling a bit.
On Sunday, Kevin and I drove to Spokane, Washington where we shopped a bit and visited the Northern Quest Casino.
On the way over, we stopped at Sam’s Restaurant in Kellogg, Idaho. This is our regular breakfast stop when we head west, and I think the waitress now recognizes us. There are three options I choose from, and this trip it was Eggs Benedict. Kevin always has meat and potatoes, and this time was no different.
In Coeur d’Alene & Spokane
In Coeur d’Alene, Spokane Valley, and Spokane itself, we drove through the lots of three different GMC dealerships. Kevin is convinced that he will replace his 2012 Ford F350 with a new GMC Sierra Denali, but so far he hasn’t found anything we can afford. OMG but pickups are expensive these days.
And speaking of expensive, most of our time in Spokane was spent at Land Rover of Spokane, formerly Spokane Jaguar/Land Rover. This is the dealership where I bought my current daily driver, the 2018 Jaguar E-Pace. I love the car and see no reason to trade it in, but Kevin is convinced that Jaguar is going out of business and parts will become unavailable should any be needed.
We test drove two beautiful Land Rovers, and they were great driving rigs. But again, now is not the time for us to be spending that kind of money. Now if you all buy large format prints of my photography, I might be tempted to get Kevin a new truck. As I said above, I love my Jaguar.
